What is the Press Club of Houston

The Houston Press Club is a non-profit organization that actively promotes and defends First Amendment guarantees of freedom of the press and provides professional development and networking opportunities for communications specialists.  The Club is dedicated to making efforts to benefit the community as a whole.  It also provides annual scholarships to local journalism students through its foundation.
